Help Stop the Mega-Club on our Waterfront
Our waterfront faces a new threat – a planned mega-club in the Port Lands. It would be the world’s largest nightclub with a capacity of 15,500 (for comparison, the Air Canada Centre’s is 19,800). The mega-club would put waterfront renewal plans for the Port Lands at risk and cause traffic and noise issues.
Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission will soon decide on the new liquor license for the planned mega-club - and we are fighting back. While we challenge the plans in front of the License Appeals Tribunal, we need you to speak out as well. Take a moment and urge the commissioners to stop the mega-club and uphold the status quo with a much smaller club. After jets, casinos, and Ferris wheels, let's stop yet another threat to waterfront renewal.
